SWEETER SWEETS – Happiness Outside the Mouth

The intention of this project is to bring something different to people’s perception of sweets and to remind people of caring more about their candy intake habits by means of design and making people happy from other perspectives, not just by an amount of sugar.

“Slow Sweets” is a brand concept, promoting a slow candy intake attitude. “Slow Sweets” doesn’t involve producing its own candy since there are already too many tasty sweets. What it wants is to make each grain of candy more precious to eaters and to make people focus on taste and quality more than on quantity. “Slow Sweets” tries to collaborate with existing outstanding sweet brands through package/sweets/installation designs under the “slow” concept. The designs will slow down candy intake speed both physically and mentally in order to trigger more thoughts around eating habits.
